The card represents the critical factor for the issue at hand. Man of Music: "Music as it exists in old tunes or melodies ... is Inspiration, and cannot be surpassed; it is perfect and eternal". Using emotional self-control. Experiencing a sense of self-integration and mastery. Feeling at the top of your form. Swaying others with your gift of expressiveness and fluency in the language of the unconscious. Ability to interpret dreams, oracles, and omens. Be cautious of a tendency to overestimate yourself. In the creative process: Dedicate your considerable powers to help others and for creating beauty in the world. |
To sway others with creativity. I do not suppose I will be orating in class as tonight is my midterm. However, perhaps I do take heart in not being over confident this evening. I know I will do well, but the extent of my mental prowess may once again be tested here. I still have two pieces of creative writing I want to complete, although I doubt this evening will provide me the time. Fortunately I look at this Tarot process as gentle reminders as opposed to hard and fast rules to stick by. Take care my fellow travellers, journey well.

to create takes a certain level of emotional self-control. The few times I descended into depression, I couldn't write. Good luck with your mid-terms.
I like the image on the card of the patriarch and the harp. The harp has great significance in Celtic lore and song. Every heard the song, Two Sisters? The older sister murder's the younger through drowning and a minstrel finds her bones and hair and makes a harp. The harp then sings the maid's story and brings the sister to justice.
Thanks Blake.
